The 5K Challenge: Invest, Earn and Win event was arranged by Information Technology University yesterday. More than 20 startups participated, stalls included, food, games, apparels and many more. The winner got a prize of PKR 25000-/ cash prize and a co-working space for summers in Arfa Tower.
The challenge was to put up a stall with as little investment as 5K and earn maximum and the winner takes the prize home. A lady was creative enough to make a pizza with as little ingredients as possible, student puts up a stall for playing taken3 on the computer in 50-/ if you win you get the money back. Trenderz set up a stall for shirts with coolest deisgns and many others.
The winner of the event was ‘Crossknit’ hand knitted sweaters. The price and quality were top notch and they managed to sell two and won the prize as well.
