"With Find My Doctor, I have come to the truth of knowing a lot of things which I used to think are myths. First one is ‘Relevance is the key to success’, many people think that only successful business plan will work wonders for them. When Covid-19 hit Pakistan, I knew it in my heart that it’s time to gear up the game and start helping people. The last 5-6 months were the game changer for us, we have tested more than 20,000 people in Karachi, Hyderabad and Islamabad.
Coming from a economics educational background I had different plans for life but when I lost my mother due to negligence of the doctors. From that very moment, my whole focus shifted to something that still is my passion. Second myth is ‘passion is the only driver’, and the success stories are fraught with eccentric leaders, personal struggles, and ruthless life experiences which can make you so passionate about a greater good. The launch of Find My Doctor was in 2016 after seeing the disparity in doctors’ rates in different areas.
Last but not the least, ‘there is no such thing as overnight success in startup ecosystem’, it took us four years and a pandemic to reach where it is now. The upside of the lockdown was a rise in sales for the company. During lockdown we have gotten a lot of coverage from media and support from renowned people who helped us promote but with one thing that has worked wonder was ‘word of mouth.’ So I would want emphasis on three things:
Customer service
Customer service
Customer service" Saad Siddiqui CEO Find My Doctor
